VR1600
2 Row stock harvester
The VR1600 makes it possible to create a cross-path through a field, facilitating the setup process when using a two-row offset potato harvester. It also allows for an increase in the overall capacity of the potato harvesting operation.
The VR1600 is a mounted machine; with a web width of 1600 mm and a length of nearly 5 meters, it offers substantial sieving capacity. The support wheels are mounted at the rear, leaving the space beneath the machine clear and preventing blockages caused by the soil being sieved out. The width of these support wheels is adjustable, allowing them to be positioned either within the tractor’s wheel tracks or on the loose soil.
The machine is equipped with two sieving webs, featuring a standard pitch of 40–36 mm. These webs are driven by four drive sprockets. Wear plates are installed on both the left and right sides, adjacent to the sieving webs. A powered agitator (beater) is integrated into the second sieving web, with adjustable speed settings.
The discharge conveyor can deposit material to either the left or right side, enabling quick clearing of space and minimizing the need for additional maneuvering. This conveyor is driven from both the left and right sides, allowing it to handle high volumes of produce. It comes with a standard pitch of 36 mm. A rubber flap is positioned above the discharge conveyor to slow down the movement of the potatoes.
At the front, the machine is supported by two wheels used for depth control; these are mechanically adjustable, with the height indicated by a graduated scale. Flanking the potato ridge are four 650 mm discs, with two synthetic diabolo-shaped rollers positioned between them.
The entire machine is hydraulically driven. All speeds are adjustable from the cabin.
