Onion Pickup Set
The onion inlet allows you to load onions with your potato harvester.
The onion inlet consists of a foam roller on a shaft. To the left and right of the inlet, intake plates prevent the onions from rolling out of the swath.
The foam roller can be hinged up and down between the intake plates. During loading, the onions push the foam roller upward, creating a gap between the first mat and the roller. The onions can then be loaded onto the sieving mat. When the onions are finished at the headland, the roller lowers again and closes the gap, preventing the onions from rolling back. A four-row potato harvester can be equipped with two onion inlet sets, allowing two swaths to be collected simultaneously.
The inlet sets can be mounted on a box beam of 80 or 100 mm.
